Violet Shaw is a ceramicist based in Margate, known for creating quietly expressive and hand-made pieces in her studio on the Kent coast. A creative who grew up in the daily life of her father’s pottery studio in rural Cambridgeshire, she has been making and teaching in clay ever since.

For this special collection with the store, Violet has produced a limited series of hand thrown mugs that draw on her love of simple, functional forms and combines them with some painterly artistic marks and patterns for our own creative retail space.

These are one of a kind creations, and listed here are the few that remain from our commission with Violet after so many of the collection have been picked up in store. Each mug will be packed in a protective box and shipped securely.
